im thinkin if ur conneceted through a router, which you probably are, you can just change ur ip address, most routers have a set ip with and the last few numbers you can change depending on ur router. if thats it then that shouldn't be a problem, but if it gets ur ip address assingned by your isp then you cant change that. anyway have fun trying to figure it out.

if you're behind a router, simply plug directly into the cable modem and unplug the modem for 5min, then turn it on and your ip should change........unless it's static but most ip's are not static unless it's a business line......... to use your router again, simply repeat the steps only after you have a differant ip from using JUST the cable modem..........
