I get low.

Recently painted my wheels white and got a set of coilovers.
Had to get 15mm spacers and extended lugs for the front. I need to paint the new lugs black to match my rears.

Next on my list is to get 215/35 tires and roll my fenders so i can go lower.

I never had any trouble with my beamers

in fact the one I had had over 200k miles on it, wasn't put down until some bitch side swipped me and the insurance wouldn't pay for it to be repaired, but gave me money towards the purchase of a vehicle.

I guess I only know people with issues with them then. Glad to hear you guys don't have issues. Because of the 7 friends I know with them- ALL had major engine problems.

Thanks, the only "real" issue i have had with the car was the upper rad hose breaking on me but that is common with OEM 100k+ plastic bmw rads.
Other then that she is running strong for 170k.

Everything in this car is OEM.
Except for the motor witch has a handful of BMW aftermarket parts and tuning software.

one benefit to getting it lowered besides preference/appearance is that it's actually legal to go 20 extra miles per hour over the speed limit in most states. another is that you get a tax deduction. another is unlimited arby's mozzarella stick coupon.

This winter was mild so the roads aren't as bad as they could have been, but in general there are still way to many potholes and construction to ride that low in Columbus.

Yeah the roads around PA can get kinda hairy.
I have a friend that custom makes scrape pans for under the oil pan.
Im not really that low .....yet
