Re: My Top Ten All Time Movies

I like all of those movies (especially Bill & Ted), but your list appears to have been put together by someone who is still 15. Don't you like any genres beside comedy?

Have you tried last.fm or pandora much? I'm not sure what to recommend because our favorite genres don't overlap much. I have been mostly into metal, electronic, or upbeat indie stuff in recent years.

Re: Let's do this again, top 25 FOAT albums.

I want to know also, how long did it take you to compile your list? Do you have this list always prepared, updated when you discover new favorites? Or did it take you two hours to walk through your library and pick out favorites, then pare it down to 25? It would take me a while.

I'm not sure phpbb keeps super comprehensive logs, especially for anonymous visitors. I'm open to suggestions about how to research it, but I'm not sure it would be possible even if it logged everything... Anybody know how to find out what IP range Nick's house or the Hive is in? Another thing is th...

Gang Gang Dance (weird stuff, this one is v danceable)
WU LYF (indie rock, kinda post-rock like Explosions in the Sky maybe)
AraabMUZIK (BEATZ)
Rustie (MORE BEATZ)
James Blake (don't know, but requires patience)

Re: movies

So The Artist won the oscars for best picture, and yeah it was good.

I watched an old one recently: Chinatown. It's got Jack Nicholson and it's a noir detective story. Really good.

Re: Smoke is an impostor

Pretty sure smoke is the real deal, judging from my admin super-vision.

The only other user who has ever posted from his IP is hexumjunkie and they are buds IRL, right? Also, I have an old email showing that he posted on my old blog on 3/11/05 and that was from the same IP address he's using today.
