Re: Noah Benett

It's worth watching the last episode of that season just to see how mind numbingly stupid the plot is.

Re: dexter

You're fucking up if you don't watch the show in it's entirety, as most of it's watching the transformation of Dexter as a person.

Re: Noah Benett

Ugh, the entire Claire subplot is awful and she needs to somehow die or get trapped in a hole for eternity. Sylar/Parkman is actually pretty decent and I'm waiting to see where the whole carnival thing goes before I pass judgement on presumably the main plot. I just hope for the love of god that it'...

Re: religion

vibe merchant. it is not the same as turning a blind eye to logic entirely. some things, sure, but not all. there is much more evidence that god exists than rumpelstiltskin. the fact that this earth exists is one of the many pieces of evidence that there is something else going on. the odds of a pl...

Re: religion

I don't think what I said was prickish, I was merely stating a fact. Pascal's Wager really is a terrible argument. And if Hell is real and "God" sends people to suffer for eternity there for not believing, then he can go fuck himself. Nothing you can do in this world warrants an eternity o...

I really wish this game wasn't only on the ds. Want to play it so badly. Hopefully they put it on the Wii arcade thingy eventually.

Re: what are you thoughts on this (wearable 6th sense)

Not necessarily. We're already the on the verge of having wireless battery charging, it already exists and works in some very rudimentary forms. Having a display that connects wirelessly(why isn't this a word) to computers somewhere on our body really wouldn't be that hard either.

Contact Lenses yo. Projections can be formed anywhere you look by just showing them on the lenses. One of the cooler things about that book that I mentioned was the way people could choose "Themes" for everything they saw. Like everything could have a jungle look to it, trees would be diff...

Re: what are you thoughts on this (wearable 6th sense)

Seriously though if you really think this shit is cool or don't think it would work, check out that book I mentioned. Most of the plot is based around pretty much exactly this kind of technology. Won the Hugo for best novel in 07. [quote="Amazon"] Set in San Diego, Calif., this hard SF nov...

Re: a high set analysis

Honestly, I really don't need to. I wouldn't be adding anything that has already been stated in this thread numerous times. It's really just been a circular discussion but you keep constructing your argument in slightly different ways to make it seem like you're saying something new when you really ...

Re: a high set analysis

If we take a look at Uplifter I would say the band is starting to make an attempt at going in the direction that the majority of the people on these boards would like. Yes there are some songs that seem alittle bit cheesy but their are just as many songs that show they still have what it takes. (Go...

Not really scary at all considering there is no high level AI controlling them. It's basically just a relatively dumb robot that has a great ability to fuel itself. These things could be useful as fuck. Edit: Fox News, blowing stupid shit way out of proportion. It's like the journalist stopped liste...
