I feel like the choruses ruined a lot of Uplifter for me.

Now if only they were Momentary Lapse of Reason boxers...or Piper at the Gates of Dawn. That would be sick.

It's awkward album cover seems to work for them. I wish it could be as sick as Transistor.

It's funny that the choruses have become increasingly bad. It's like how sick grifters was, and then when it turned into long for the flowers, the lyrics felt like an afterthought. I do like that it sounds like strong all along. But I'll just listen to strong all along if I want my fix.

The obnoxious choruses in songs like It's Alright ruined the last album. I don't think it will bring back a more experimental sound, but I can always hope. I

Anybody have a chance to listen to this? It's streaming on npr's website. I hate to say it but I'm a bit bored with it as well. I don't know, the 2nd half just doesn't grab me. It kind of dissolves. And the last song doesn't resolve the album like any of their other closers such as videotape, wolf at the door, and motion picture soundtrack(which is my personal favorite).
