Re: "Mid-Life Dreams to Bring Back Ron Saint"

'too much too fast' was the most interesting thing 311 had done in a long time oh man, I forgot about that one! I love that song, and definitely forgot it was on Uplifter. I think producers serve a mostly unnecessary role, but in the case of 311 it'd be great if they had a producer that freely said...

well if it was a joke why does it have to make sense?

what I really want to know though is what does SA when asked "who produced this record?"

back to jenns radio waiting - 7.7 actually really enjoyable song.. That song makes me cringe. I could be alone and almost be embarrased by listening to it. If it is played live i will burn all my 311 memerabilia and remove my tat...then cry. Uh. OK. You sure they haven't played it live already? It'...

I think if that's really the case, why aren't you arguing that Matisyahu shortened his set? Saying he shouldn't have gone on at all is a huge hell of a stretch. But saying man, since he started later maybe he could've dropped a couple of songs so 311 could play more. That might've been a more accept...

^ they owe their fans a lot but not EVERYTHING. the fans didn't write the music, the fans didn't work their asses off... the fans mean a lot, and 311 knows that. but c'mon. you shouldn't be telling 311 what they should do just because you buy their shit. i would totally have chad hook me up with a n...

i thought it was a good show but that there were better songs and sound the past couple of years. plus i think there were more than an average amount of meatheads. nix hex was great. loved the new drum solo and all the transistor songs played. i'll be here a while was a nice one, too. the outro weir...

I think the plot was just fine, nicely worked out story for a comedy. Better than most movies out coming out. I went in with no expectations other than 'this has to be at least half way decent.' I came out thinking that everything I liked about the simpsons was in it. And I've watched it since the b...

That movie was fuckin horrible. Nothing even remotely anything like the original first 10 seasons. The jokes were corny, cheesy, one-liners. . No, No and no. This movie had everything I liked about the simpsons in their prime. Funny jokes, slight political/religious humor, great characters, a plot ...

Yeah, I know... I listened to em and those samples do sound like crap. I highly doubt that it would sound like that if say, Tim was playing through it. But yeah, now I've got to find a place that stocks this thing so I can try it out for myself. My experience with guyatone effects have always been p...

Fans of the Q/Mu Tron Rejoice!

Guyatone recently came out with this pedal: http://www.guyatone.com/GstU05.php It looks beautiful, built like a tank and the only cons in the guitar player review was that "it may have too many options for some players." I love my QTron but it's not exactly something I consider road worthy...

I gotta be in the right mood for 'em but I think they're a very cool band. After hearing Funeral about the fifth time I started to really dig em.

Actually, it costs way more to record on tape. Tape machines cost more. Tape costs more. It does sound better but on the other hand it's really easy to roll with ideas on a digital system AND there's a shitton of albums that have been recorded digitally that I absolutely adore. It's more about the p...
