Re: Rothbury Festival

Ohhh... so you don't get to pick your camp site... that kind of sucks. Oh well. Any idea how many people are going to be there? I'd love to have a rough estimate... I've been to festivals in Ohio, but nothing big like this. I'm excited :) There are only 2 showers though and they charge you to use th...

Re: Rothbury Festival

Sorry to revive an old thread... but I just bought tickets. Last minute, decided I had to be there. Is anyone else going to Rothbury? I'm thinking the lineup seems a little bit not like the typical 311 type crowd, so it should be interesting, but it'll be a great time!

Guys are definitely equally as shallow. I'd go so far as to say you're much more likely to see a girl like her with a guy like him then the other way around. More often then not, it's the guys who are the more shallow ones.

Re: Bell X1

The album is interesting. When I listen to each song individually, it seems kind of... eh... but if I put the whole album on I kind of get into it. I'm the type though, with new music, it takes time for it to grow on me. If you want the album , send me an instant message sometime (irukandjia) and I'...

Yeah :) I read it wrong. I thought you said 5 months. I'm sick. I blame it on that.

Re: Patrick Swayze has cancer :(

Just wanted to say... the enquirer might not have been that far off this time. The average survival after diagnosis with pancreatic cancer is somewhere around 3-5 months. But that depends on the type and how far along it is at diagnosis... but if they were just statistically speaking it wouldn't be ...

I'm in love with this band. They're incredible. Has anyone heard of them? Rocky Took A Lover is the most awesome song I've ever heard in my life. I love the lyrics. I wanna shine in the eye of Orion But I drove my soul through the Black Hole Here's a youtube video of the actual song: http://www.yout...

Re: 311 in Oxford, last night, 3/2/2008 - Nick's voice

Sorry for the lack of setlist. I have a horrible memory, and kind of get lost in the concert too much to pay enough attention to write things down. I was actually very surprised at the songs they played. It was great. I was worried it'd be a much slower, more "pop" 311 because of where the...

311 in Oxford, last night, 3/2/2008 - Nick's voice

So with all this talk of Nick's voice deteriorating, I just thought I'd leave a positive comment about it. Either it was great faking on Nick's part (ie. he didn't sing and it was recorded) or he's been working on his voice because last night, I think, was the best sound I've ever heard coming from ...

I know it's a joke... but... meth is so absolutely awful I just had to say it. I have had the unfortunate experience of seeing some good people go down that path to help them study... and it's sick. It completely changes you. It's a disgusting awful terrible drug. not to mention it's pretty much poi...

Re: I just made the most amazing snack ever

Yeah sorry there's no curry in it. Later Curry is awesome.... I just had some tonight actually. I <3 Indian food. Naan rocks my world. Triscuits and blue cheese dressing though... neither of them do. Sounds like some good artery clogging snack food other than that though. Assuming the hot wings are...

Re: Eclipse - turquiose moon

Have you done astro photography before? I'm awful with photography. I also have a decent but not great digital camera, so that kind of thing is almost impossible. I have a big aquarium, and try to take pictures of that sometimes, but they rarely turn out right. It's a difficult thing to get right. I...

Re: Rothbury Festival

So I'm way behind on the loop. I just heard about this festival on the radio today. I'm in NW ohio - so the plan, if I can convince some people to go, is to be there. I've already got one person on board. So hopefully I'll see some of you guys there. The lineup does look incredible. Sound Tribe Sect...
