Re: Awwwww yeahhhh Slimmy got the cd today!
I can't believe it's actually good. Really good. That's exactly how I feel. I've never had such low expectations for a 311 album in my 21 years of listening. Universal Pulse damn near killed my 311 fanhood. This album has officially won me back. I can't wait to see them pimp the new record during t...

I had a friend e-mail me the album via Dropbox this morning. I couldn't wait to get home from work and soak it in. Three times through and I think we have a good album here.

Make it Rough seems like quintessential 311 made for the radio.

Re: Favorite track off Stereolithic so far? (NOW WITH POLL!)
Tranquility, Simple True and Made in the Shade are early standouts to me. I'm digging this album so far. I'll admit, Universal Pulse almost made me throw in the towel on 311 but this album is growing on me big time. Every song seems to have a counterpart from an earlier album. It's fun to listen to ...

Re: Black people, for the most part, are worthless
Wow, I haven't really been on here in months mostly due to inactivity. I can see it hasn't gotten much better. The sad thing is that assblaster is probably right about flushing out people that actually bit into his obnoxious and attention whoring thread. I think this is my cue that this site has run...

Good to see you haven't changed. You are still in Ohio and I'm 99.9% sure you are still a virgin. LOL.

Fred Mascherino's new band has some serious potential
Sup fellas been a while since I've posted but I wanted to know if anybody has seen the band Terrible Things. It consists of former Taking Back Sunday backup vocalist Fred Mascherino as well as the drummer from Coheed and Cambria. I stumbled on these guys when they opened up for Story of the Year her...

Re: Put this dog down
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Nick Hexum is 311. Love him or hate him, if he goes then that band will cease to exist. P-nut already has a side gig. Chad Sexton would most likely take up record producing fulltime and TIm Mahoney would simply be a gun for hire. I honestly don't know what ...

Die hard Dallas fan but I had no problem rooting for Drew Brees. I've always thought it was only a matter of time before that dude had a ring. I was just surprised he could never get it with San Diego. NFC! NFC! NFC!

Re: religion 2
At what point did it look I took it personal? I am really just stating the obvious. Both sides have strong opinions. There is really no reason to assume either side will budge. Please note that I am not a christian that is going to cram their beliefs down other peoples throats. I just say tolerance ...

Sorry for the double post but just take a look at all the post in this thread. Pretty much proves the point of my first comment doesn't it.

I do. That's as far as I'll go with this. Religion topics on internet forums are beyond pointless. The topic is way too heavy and most of the time it's a few people that do believe taking shots from the majority of the board who just to want to ridicule the few rather that discuss anything. Well it...

Re: Seriously.
I don't know why but it reminds me of the unplugged set that the 10,000 Maniacs did back in the 90's. Maybe because she has a peculiar voice like Natalie.
I wish every band I like would redo their album with a studio orchestra. haha.

Yeah I was watching my Hokies beat the breaks off of Tennessee and they cut to commercial while playing jackpot. I looked at my wife and told her that it doesn't get much better than this. She rolled her eyes.

Re: roll fuckin tide
Texas did not do that good of a job stopping the run. Granted they were on the field for most of the game. It's easy to stop something if you know it's coming. They knew Bama would keep it to the ground in the second half and still gave up over a hundred yards to two running backs. They really didn'...

Re: Thanks for showing up Cincinnati
Yes the SEC has done well in this decade and I believe the whole thing is cyclical anyway. I can't wait for next year as there is no clear cut juggernaut team. Alabama keeps most of it's core to include Ingram but most of the big quarterbacks are going away. (Tebow, Bradford, McCoy) I still can't be...
